Our Acting Training

• On-camera, on-location scene study/film set experience 
• A focus on the technical challenges and aesthetics of film acting 
• Multiple takes and multiple setups 
• Multiple locations, such as homes, city streets, beaches, pools, parks, restaurants, and cars 
• John and Diane coach, shoot, review, and critique scenes. 
• Original scenes by actors, or by John and Diane, or from Clu Gulager's library of film acting workshop scenes 
• Raw footage for an added fee 

Actors will present a fully-developed camera-ready original scene at the class location. On location, John and Diane will: 
• Coach actors 
• Shoot scenes 

At the studio: 
• Review scenes with actors 
• Critique performances 

In addition, some classes will cover:
• Film acting challenges of self-tape auditioning, matching, and lip- syncing 
• The challenges after booking a role for which you must arrive on set ready to shoot, never having rehearsed
